325 mm boot in a 329mm binding

So I have a pair of skis w/ bindings on them set for a 329pmm bsl. I want to use these skis for like early/late season bad conditions and maybe if i get into some park. However the boots I have now are 325mm bsl. So what do I do to make it work, would the bindings have to be totally re-drilled and mounted, can the shop adjust it without moveing the binding, can I adjust or it will it just be fine with 4mm difference?

There should be an adjustment to slide the heelpiece forward or back on the track. Whether or not it has room on the track to slide forward depends on where the track was set when the binding was mounted. I doubt it was set totally forward on the track, and 4mm isn't much so it should have room to slide forward. Look at the heelpiece at the back and most likely you'll see a flat piece of metal that is about the size of a flat screwdriver. You just pop it and the heel slides on the track, but go to a shop to do any adjustments cause it could affect other aspects of the binding.

They should be able to be adjusted. However definitely take them to the store and have them adjusted by a tech. You don't want to mess with forward pressure unless you know what you're doing.
It only costs like 5 - 10 bucks too.

what bindings do you have.. rossi/look/dynastars have a forward pressure display so you could do it yourself.. its pretty simple.. a tech could explain it much better than me though.. don't flame me for saying this.. with these binders it is pretty easy to adjust yourself if someone helps you through it.. there are countless techs on this site.. save the guy $10..

thats only on looks/rossi. all other brands have a little screw under the din screw. he didnt say what kind of bindings but its better to just adjust them yourself rather than spending $15 to have them adjust them in a minute right in front of you. thats what they did with my skis last year when i got new boots and i was like, i could have done that myself. seeing that its not a whole lot that you are moving them, they would probably be fine without a tech doing them. if it was like a couple centimeters, they would have to adjust everything on the bindings.

Every company uses the tab. Worm screw is generally used on the higher end bindings.
