Backflips

So I learned backflips about 2 seasons ago and it wasn't a big deal but it seems like a lot of people cant do them or are scared to...why is that?  No trampoline experience? Just scared? dont have a good jump to learn? I'm just curious why, please fill me in

trampoline experience has nothing to do with it. I can't backflip a trampoline, but I can backflip skis.

waht's the thought process going into a front/backflip? do you just try to throw your legs out and above your head as soon as you're off the jump?

Well I can't backflip yet. I am hopefully going to learn this year.

I dont have a tramp. I have just never tried. I havnt done much park other then just straight airing kickers (ya grabs and stuff, but no spinning or flipping or anything cool)


I'm going to try into powder sometime this year. and hopefully gain the confidence that I can do it in the park.
