It is possible to replace the brakes
Most shops will tell you need to buy all new heels but that isn't true, but if you want it done right and cheap you gotta do it yourself.
The easiest way is to find a pair of idemnified pivots on ebay, swaps, tgr, or even thrown away. they're probably on straight skis. Then take the suckers apart and swap in the new breaks. Best part is the breaks on old models are steel which is more durable.
Or you can search forums on here and tgr some people have spare parts for sale from time to time.
You should be able to find new breaks for free to $40 max, I've done it a couple times.
Here's a link on how to swap out the brakes. It's tricky but worth it.
Hopefully that helps you fix yours for cheap so you don't have to drop $$$ on new heels
On another note. Seller's a good kid he's not trying to rip anyone off. $100 for working pivots with the new toes is a fair deal on ns. And as you heard a broken pair of 155's sold for $91 + shippin and you have to guess at your din. (I was watchin those too) That makes a half missing brake arm sound pretty good. There's 3 other threads of kids sellin fks with older, inferior toes for the same price on here. If those sell before these because a few haters ripped his sale apart i'd be dissapointed.
If you are interested and have a serious problem with the price PM him and i'm sure hel'll listen and maybe able to work somethin out.
peace and word up
