Burn to dvd program?

so it came to my attention that i have no clue at all what to use to burn my own edits and stuff to dvd.

ive heard encore is what to use to get fancy and i can use it with after effects but i dont feel like learning the whole program just yet.

anyone know some preferably free or easy to torrent programs for doing this?

and yes i searchbarred but the ones i tried were for ripping movies off dvds and stuff.

From your comment based on encore i am assuming you have a PC. If you have a DVD burner I am sure that there is some type of dvd burning program on your computer. If you don't want to do anything special I am sure the program that came with the DVD burner is just fine. IT allows you to imput .avi files from say premier and you can make a really basic background and titles page. I am not at my PC, actually about 100 miles from it so I am not recalling the exact name of the program sorry. But what you can do if you dont want to do anything special is just export in full quality and put in the program that came with the dvd burner and voila. Or sometimes you can export to DVD if you dont want a title or anything

yeah but see i had vista on my laptop when i got it, and i reinstalled xp so i kinda lost all the programs that came with it. and i cant find a disc for it so...

and in premiere cs3 encore is supposed to be built in, but i may or may not have gotten my version in a legit way, and i didnt get the encore part to it so... and theres no export to dvd i dont think

Google free dvd program or go to any store that sells software, youl find a crappy one for cheep.

If you want custom, cool dvds, id check out encore. Lots of options and editing and stuff and you can edit menus in photoshop and it intergrates with after effects.

Side note-- anyone with encore want to email me the psd's that come with encore, like the menus and stuff. Ive got a legit version of it but for some reason my librarys empty

i just downloaded encore and i can look for the psd's.

on another note im having a problem with it. i set it up and went to build dvd and its all good started transcoding, but then it goes and it says its importing my video and everytime it gets to the end it goes back about a quarter way and keeps doing that.
dont know if you know why but if you do would be a lot of help il look for the psds to send to you
