first you have to know what it looks like, to know how it works. Take a basketball for example: when it hits the floor, to come back up it must first?...... squish or flatten out to bounce back up. This re-directs it energy or momentum. So when you pass the ball off the ground its, in a way, jumping off the ground going forward.
In skiing we take off in a upward direction and land in a downward direction so we need to creait that arc like a ball being passed off the floor.
1) Dont jump like a tigger and go straight up.
2) It comes from the hips. its a pelvic trust up and forward
3)like the ball to go up you have to get down first. like ALEX G said you need to feel the toung of you boots on your shins. that tells you that you got low enough
4)lt will feel like LIFT OFF when get it
landing is kind f the opposite you reach then squish
have i lost you or you getting this
