well 2 months before ours starts, but i just bought a skidoo so i can finally get to the legendary backcountry in newfoundland. thats right bc in nf. so ill be skiing in about 1 month, as soon as my exams are done. and urban jibbing after i get my major assignments done

all you east coasters that talk up your mounds so much, you know the east is a heap of shit, it takes 3 of your best mountains to measure up to a half decent west coast mountain, fuck it, i dont even know why im typing this, its like a 89 civic to a ferrari, you may have some good memories with the civic but we all know the ferraris a better car

Well, I'm looking to go most likely around August. I've been told student visa is the easiest way in, but that might be a little tough for me.

Current thoughts right now, hopefully I will be ISIA certified by Feb, so I might try to finagle a visa with that, but I know Whistler says they don't arrange visa's for people. So I might also be looking to use my experience in the tech industry to get a job out of Vancouver or something.

lets see, will this turn into another east coast west coast thread, I hope not.

the funny thing is that im so stoked to ski blue ice. the days when its too cold, or too icey, or the light is too flat, all you west coasters go inside, but i'll be out on the mountain, with the biggest smile on my face. and powder days? we get a handfull a year, and nothing compares. its kinda like when you jack off and you tease it, when the white stuff comes, its incredible...

my hill opens in the begining of december which is only 2 or 3 weeks away so eat that! For a small resort mine gets a shitload of powder and the backcountry is always fresh and it all has easy to follow trails with large jumps, and this year were getting 20 new rails and a halfpipe so eat that shit bitches!
