I rode the Volkl Bridge last season which is basically the offspring of the karma. I liked the ski a lot as far as All-Mt. versatility goes, but I thought it was to heavy for jibs, and to stiff to press and butter.
I just bought the new Line Anthems because I was looking for a softer, more playful ski...just like you. I haven't put them on snow, but I did click in in the back yard (I know, I'm a tool) and I can honestly say that I didn't have to put any effort into a tip stand, nollie, or any kind of flexing. I went with the anthem, because I felt like the the Invader is just too narrow underfoot for me.
Obviously you are going to sacrifice some versatility going with a softer ski, but you probably know that.
This years fujas is not playful, I went to the shopto check it out, and its pretty stiff, my suggestion would be invaders, some t-halls (last years are softer), Fujatives, AR6, go to a shop and check them out your self, that way you know what you're getting as opposed to buying online where you hope it will be the way you want it.
