How are Intuition liners suppose to fit?

the heel will get molded to your foot and fit a lot better, but the toe will not snug up

I don't see why they won't shrink to my toes a little. Isn't the liner made to shrink and form to your foot for a better fit? Why would intuition tell people to size up if they knew that the liner didn't shrink?

ski boot liners dont shrink, they pack out, a liner will never get smaller

im fairly sure that when you heat mold an intuition liner they expand, I.E. shrinking. thats why you wear a toe cap when you mold them.

They should be super un comfy before they are molded. but 28 seems big. i would say a 27 but im not sure i havent worked with intuitions in a year. The thing is is the dont expand out wards. like the padding basically expands inwards when heat and then your foot pushes it out. so it will fill in all empty spaces between your foot and the liner. But if the heel is getting compressed cause its to big then it wont work right. what u should do is put the old liner next to the intuition if the soles line up to be the same lenght its legit if they're like a cm bigger then buy the 27.

if i remember correctly the heat molding shrinks the liner, that is why everyone (bootfitters included) recommends the bigger liner.

The liner should fit pretty snug through out the foot at first, remember you are going to mold them and then the liner will fit like it was meant for your foot

Exactly what I thought too. Intuition actually suggests to go a full size bigger then your shell size, why would they be telling customers to go bigger if they know that the liner would not shrink in any way? Im still pretty positive that when the liner is molded to you foot it shrinks to it, then when you are breaking them in they are suppose to pack out a little bit.

the liner itself gets a little thicker and softer when it is heated. Doesnt expand like a foam ingection liner though. I have never noticed them shrinking in length, but it could be a posibility, in length only. Most boot liners leave some space between the liner and the boot so they may want to fill that space. A full size is a lot though.

The foam in the liner gets soft and the pressure on your foot pushes it out where it needs it (makes it thinner). The pressure will become less in your ankle because it will make room where it needs. Make sure you use toe caps. As well you can put padding on your foot to give a little room where you want it. I wouldnt do that first go with an intuition though, you can always remold.

The liner will "Shrink" when you mold it. right now its a rigid shape, but once you heat it some of that foam volume will fill all the voids around both your foot and the inside of the shell. Mine didn't even fit into the shell until I heated them and now are a perfect fit
