So I am going to be skiing Big sky Mt, Jackson Hole, and a couple trips to summit county this winter. I have a couple of park skis- old skogen pros and stls. I am trying to decide what I want to get for a ski to use on days that I will be
1. Hitting backcounty booters, jumps, and hucking cliffs(last year 10-15 feet, this probably higher)
2. Skiing fresh Pow, any where from a couple inches to the deep stuff.
3. skiing the better/steap terrain in and around the places I listed above.
I can ski anything inbounds aggressively at all the mountains in summit county.
I am about 160 pounds and between 5 11 and 6 foot.
The skis I am looking at are the Rossi S5 178 which is the same ski as last years Scratch BC Brigade, The line prophet 100s 179, Line bacons, P4s, blends, and Seths.
I am a little concerned if the S5s might be a bit soft, and if the p100s are a bit stiff for my liking. I don't know much about this years seths. I know if I get bacons I would want this years so they are stiffer and don't know if I want to spend that much. I have heard good things about the p4s but that is all I now about them as well. Any info that you think would help me would be great and if you feel like suggesting a different ski go ahead. Thanks and +k to anyone that helps.
