Replying to Question for people who are knowledgable on rifles.

I am looking to get my FID, but i live in massachusetts so it's impossible to sit down and understand the restrictions. I want to buy an M1 garand rifle, but under the umbrella of a Mass FID, I can only have a non-large capacity rifle. Being 20, i cant get a class a or b permit (the age is 21) so I'm stuck with the FID. Does the M1 fall under the title of a non-large capacity rifle? I want to do this legally so I don't get screwed with jail time over illegal posession, and I want the M1 because it is really an iconic rifle. Many credit it with winning world war 2. I just wanted to kno w if anyone out there can be of some service
