The general idea seems to be that full tilts are super narrow. In my opinion this isn't true at all, they are just sized differently. Usually if you measure your mondo size you have to then size down to get a nice snug fit (I'm an 11/11.5 shoe and had to go down to a 28 with spks). Full tilt seems to simply have more accurate sizing. According to them a 29 is a size 11 shoe and surely enough I decided to try some on the other day to get the truth on these mythically narrow boots and the 29 fit me super well. So all of you who have avoiding them thinking they are too narrow go out and try some because I used spks for two seasons and they worked well for me (until they packed out then I had to put an extra foot bed in) and the full tilts fit me really well too.
Also the 29 full tilt shell has a smaller bsl than a 28 spk (by 1 mm), so I think people just think they are narrow because they are always trying on full tilts that are a size too small.
Just wanted to get that out there because so many people I asked deterred me from trying them by saying they would never fit me if spks fit me... and in my case that was wrong.
