Alright, turns out I've got patellofemoral, which basically means my patella is out of its normal position because the muscles in my leg are too weak in some places and too strong in others.
The only real symptom is pain, and it gets really bad during the season, as in if I ski a moguls run my day is ruined. I went to kicking horse the day after a huge pow day, and took a moguls run to get to the hut by the stairway to heaven lift, and my day was finished pretty much.
I've been doing some exercises to strengthen the muscle in front of my shinbone, directly behind the knee, and the muscles on the inside of the knee. I've been stretching my legs lots too, and doing stationary biking.
If anyone knows of any dietary supplements, exercises, or stretches that have helped them with this, I would really appreciate it if you could post them.
