Last season I was in Dalbello Aerro 50 boots. (I know, not the best but the best that I could afford.) The boots I am getting this season have a significantly shorter cuff compared to my boots from last season. (At least 1.5-2 inches shorter.) I do not have a choice of other boots as I am on a rental agreement with the shop from which I am getting the boots. The boots fit my foot perfectly fine, but just like I have said earlier, they do not come as far up my lower leg as my last pair of boots. Will this affect anything skiing-wise or will it just be a comfort thing? BTW the boot I am getting is Dalbello but I have not seen it on their site.
