Just when i get them off (had em for 4yrs 2months and 9days) and i think the annoyance is over, i get the piece of shit called a retainer, there more fuckin annoyin then braces and they say i have to wear them for 24 7. this sucks

Check it, I'm the new Pete Olenik. LOL, I was born without that tooth so I hadda get braces cause my teeth were all messed, now I gotta wear the reatiner with the tooth on it until I'm 16 so they can put an implant tooth in.

I know numerous people who have that retainer tooth thing. Looks like no fun. This woman I work with, Cindy, had an extremely abusive ex-husband, and he knocked out three of her front teeth on the top right when he punched her in the face one time, and she just got her implants a week ago. They look SO good and real! It's crazy what dentistry can do these days.

But yeah, like I was saying about the braces thing... Yeah, they suck a lot, but the invisible retainers are MUCH better than metal chunks and wires and bright colored bands all over your crooked nasty teeth. I've seen pleanty of Alaska Natives downtown who would be more than willing to go through what you did to have straight teeth if they had the money.

yeah i just got my braces off on wedneday. Felt so good then i got that gay retainer yesterday. Ti pisses me off im getting used to it but it sucks. Its got a cool flamingo on it though.

its not really bad, i don't even realize it's in anymore. ive had it for over a year, and i have to wear it 24/7. the bottom retainer sucks soo bad though, the little one for your front teeth, that thing hurts like a mother.

ya, I have em for 4 years too, top are coming off my chirtmas but my bottoms are fucked up, and plus I chiped my two front teeth and I cant get them fixed cause my braces so my teeth are really fucked. FUCKED.

hehe i never had to wear braces or anything either. i was lucky. but um i say be greatful you can correct your teeth, messed up teeth are pretty gross sometimes.

i've had 6 braces up top for almost a year now. just when i think i'm getting them off, they tell me they are going to put more on. now i have them on every tooth, and they hurt like god damn hell. braces suck. if your in doubt, just don't get them. just... live with sucky teeth. it's not so bad. i mean, it's better than this.

i was told to wear a retainer 24/7 as well.. but i only wore them at night, and it worked out fine... they couldnt tell, and they still cant tell... just make sure the retainers fit well in yur mouth, then u know u havent shifted

i got mine off like two years ago, i had the normal retainers, but then my bag got stoeln at mt snow and those were in my bag...and then i got the clear ones, i don't wear them anymore
when i had braces, i would always break the wires while i was skiing and stuff
i remember one time i was playing soccer with my brother, and he kicked me in the face, and the inside of my mouth was stuck to each and every brace thingy...it hurt

I had braces when i was seven (i have them now to ) but i broke my arm and like a week after i got out of the hospital i got braces IWAS THE BIGGEST GEEK (but since when has that changed)

lol, if you dont like the retainers just refuse to wearthem and get the orthodontist to put in an appliance, its a tiny metal bar that they glue to the back of your teeth that stops them from moving, you dont even feel it. I have it on the bottom and its so much better than a retainer
