Well, the tax point is ridiculous...you wouldn't feel that way if you were wealthy. Flat percentage is the way to go, ask any economist.

Israel/Palestine is a conflict that's been going on forever, they both do things to each other, it's a two way street.

If Clinton hadn't been a fuck-tard, and listened to the intelligence before 9/11, Bin Laden would've been taken care of and our towers would still be standing. Everyone thinks he had a great administration because of the economy then, but his term reaped the rewards of things that Bush senior (and even Reagan) put into effect. We didn't see the long-term outcome of any of Clinton's decisions while he was still in office. Again, ask an economist.

The surge...wow. The commanding general suggested that, and it worked beautifully. You can't just drop the ball and walk out that fast. It won't work.

Depends on your definition of victory.

Can't agree with you anymore. History tends to repeat itself. World War 1.. the war to end all wars, we left Germany in tatters, a weak sense of government and extreme inflation. That just made it easy for hitler to come to rise and establish himself as a powerful person with many followers... eventually leading to world war 2. If we just leave Iraq with a weak central government, someone powerful will come to rise, attract followers, resulting in more US casualties then if we just stayed there in the first place. I did not vote for Obama because of his views on the Middle East and plans to cut military spendings. I did not vote for McCain because of his economic policies. Lets go Nader... psht maybe in another 16 years

Propaganda implies what I'm saying isn't true...and it is, it's been released and confirmed by the White House...Sorry to have been correct? I'm not saying Clinton did have some good ideas and policies, but with regard to Bin Laden, he fucked up by not acting when he should've. And the Economy wasn't his doing.

That's all. Not everything he did was bad, never said that.

Even if that statement were true (which it isn't, and don't give me that "blood for Oil' line either, if that were the case we would've taken control of the oil there a long time ago), it was STILL Clinton who put the regime change policy in effect, not Bush.

Either way, everyone else thought Sadam had the weapons too.
Bush at least admitted his intel was bad, he could've planted weapons there easy enough. Sadam shouldn't been outed long ago, and if we walk away now, it'll be worse than if we'd never gone in...I don't like the war, don't misunderstand me...my Dad is active duty USAF, so I understand a lot of the feelings toward the war, but it's already done...we need someone who can stick it out and not drop the ball.

the problem with this election and every election is that neither candidate will live up to all their promises and you know it. Obama will not be able to to live up to all his more social programs and McCain will not be able to cut alot of taxes like he wants. simple as that we are out of money.

and for all you Bush haters, i guess you were in middle school or something when he was first elected president because he did a hell of a good job for his first part in office given the circumstances he had to deal with so STOP hating on him because the media portrays him as the devil, just as the republicans view Obama as the devil. All candidates love this country which is why they run for the first place.

i ask you, why should just the rich pull more weight?  why cannot everyone pull more weight, and we'd all be better off?

i like where you are going.

people always say the rich get all the tax breaks. they put the most in, they should get the most out. for every rich person that avoids being taxed is paired with a poor person not getting taxed. so dont tell me the "rich dont pay taxes bullshit line" study the tax code (like i have done) and then come bitch to me on how the system works.

and those "tax cuts for the rich" really had an effect ALL across the board, rich, poor, and everywhere in between. 

o here is fun little number, after bush cut the capital gains rate, the amount of money government took in from capital gains taxes DOUBLED! you cut taxes, but the amount of money government collects is closely related to the GDP of our country.

Heres something everyone should consider cause i havent heard it brought up..

With obamas plan of basically taking money from the rich and giving money to the lesser income people what will really happen.

People are greedy its human nature so when you tell the big rich corporation your gonna tax them more what are they gonna do to keep there bottom line. Heres what the simple answer for them is fire half there employees and then pay the rest the same to do the twice the work. then since theres alot of talk of this also effecting small businesses those business owners are normally to close to the employees to treat them in such a shitty way so then they will lose money and most likely risk going out of business.

So in the end everybody gets screwed because people get laid off or they have to work twice as hard. Oh and the people that get fired or laid off will just create a bigger deficit because they well need unemployment

Im not saying im against obama i just thought of it and it made me think alot

I voted obama about 2pm this afternoon.

It was in a senior citizen nursing home, and i was surrounded by a 95 year old women on a hover-round and an 80 year old women with a nice mustache, only two people in line... I lucked out!
