EHP Mounting Recommends

Where would you recommend mounting 4FRNT EHP's. I don't ski switch ever so I don't need a center mount, but i don't want something super far back...

But why are you getting twin tips then if you never ski switch?

Which length are you getting? I bought the 193's and mounted on the line. I figured Hoj probably knows better than me when it comes to how his ski should be ridden. I was considering 1+. I would say don't go further than 2+. Even though you said you won't be skiing them switch much, they are super directional at the same time, so I don't think you should got too far forward. I can give you better info tomorrow when I get them back from the shop, and they'll be mounted, so if you want I can get pics up tomorrow and you can get a feel for how far back recommended is.

The 193's are kind of a ramp, goes about 2 cms. Not sure about the 86's. The 79's are pretty close to a twin. But the sidecut is less than ideal for skiing switch,

thats true but not alot of twins have the tail height the same as the tip. aside from the true symmetrical skis, which more companies like k2 are starting to make, but most twins dont have symetrical side cut, flex, or tip and tail height. Basically what im saying is you got twins, not at all park twins but go stomp some 1s in the pow yo switch skiings way better then regular way sking

I'm sorry, but the ehp's are not twins. Especially not the 193's. The tails pretty much just raised so it's not as easy to hook.

have them mounted at recommended location, especially with a ski like the ehp. may i ask what length they are, and will you be using them for touring ?

i would say mount them on the line. 4frnt only has one mounting line, not a midsole and center line, because their line is where the ski should be mounted to perform it's best. i was skeptical of this when i got tnks last year, but they were money and i was used to skiing a symetrical park ski. with the ehp being a pintail and you not really planning on skiing switch, i think you would be fine putting it on the line.
