Copper and Breck open this weekend!

Is it true that Copper will open with a pipe, and Breck will open with jumps???

hasnt breck opened with jumps the past 2 seasons? I know they did during the 06-07 season. A 35 into a 40.

yes they have, and copper has opened w/ a pipe at least the last 2 years

Keystone is opening too and atleast for the past couple years Copper has not opened with a pipe...it usually takes a couple more weeks to get it shaped and open.

^ yes true that i heard Keystone has the best early season the mtns are supposed to get over ft. this week

that is not stellar. I really could go for a few jumps. I've been happy with the rail setup at loveland this weekend. a bit sketchy but fun. Still stoked for the bigger guys to open up

I'm pretty sure the first jumps last year were at Breck during Thanksgiving.  There is hardly any snow at all up there right now, so I don't know about those speculations.

copper did not open with a pipe or jumps last season

breck did not open with jumps last season till about 2 weeks in, the season before they did though, the thing is last season it was super dry so they did not have the capacity to do so, but hopefully this season for all the coloradoians

FAIL

Copper will not open with a pipe.

Breck will not open with jumps.

Keystone will open with about 30 features tho this season.

copper has been the first one with a pipe the last few years, but they havent opened with a pipe every year, it takes longer to build the base for it

do not despair, the weekend of the 14th copper is having all kinds of fun shenanigans and prizes, im skipping class that friday to go up to ski and sleep in the car all weekend. 3 guys in the back of a durango = one hell of a good time

yeah, two years ago they opened with jumps, last year it took them like 3 weeks to blow enough snow

I heard from a few people that there will be features at all 3 resorts. My guess is that all 3 will be competing against each other for bragging rights, to who has the best opening features.

i think copper opens on the 14th and they usually dont open with a pipe it comes around mid to late november
