Sadly the best comic to ever be published in a weekly newspaper has ended. today was the final comic and i think it went out right. RIP OPUS

i think he should have been adopted by the cabana girls. but one of the cabana girls should have been hilary. that would have been epic. BUT.....it went out the right way

I don't know what Opus is, but I'm pretty sure it can't be better than Calvin and Hobbes.

I'll miss Opus, but I must admit that Berke Breathed has not had a very strong history of quitting comics for good. With any luck he'll be back with a fourth comic strip in a few years.
