Where to ski in the NY/NJ area?

Hello all,

I'm doing an internship in the city, and I'm from iowa - wondering where is a good place to ski around here?

Public transportation is currently my only option to get to any resort - or if any of you carpool from the city, and have an extra spot -- let me know!

The only one I have seen is Mountain Creek is the closest, and has the best deal of their "triple play"....

creek has a decent park when its up and running also i think it is the only one serviced by mass transit.

yea mountain creek, I'm in the city about 3 days a week but I'm planning to take the bus to my hometown in Jersey and then drive to Creek whereas you would definetley want to take the bus that goes directly to the mountain.

I've been told that Big Boulder is way better, its in PA, you're welcome to take the bus to my town and then carpool down there with me but it might be a pretty long trip for you

Im around in jersey.  Usually will hit blue instead of creek.
