Sugarloaf Skiers

i'll be at sugarloaf this year because i go to school in maine, but i was wondering how the park was this last year. before you tell me to search, i did and didnt really find exactly what i was looking for.

what was the setup last year, how well was it built, and how do you think it will be this year (i read on their website that they hired a new park crew or something and are trying to build a better park this year).  do they have any large jumps (40/50 feet +)? how are those? the ones at my home mountain suck most of the time so i cant imagine that these will be any worse.

I wasnt there enough this past season to know the whole setup but i do remember a few 40+ jumps. I know this isnt much srry =/ Great mountain though sure youll enjoy it

it was pretty saweet, i mean like most the times, some weekends it was sick and everything was et up nice and well maintained, with a good 4 good jumps with like 8 good rails in the run of one of the parks... but this year i heard its going to be much much better with new park crew members

in years past sugarloaf has held strong with a nice ice pipe, just like everyone likes it. along with a number of sizable hits ranging around 40 ft. throw in a handful of random rails and the big sugarloaf wall-ride and you got the sugarloaf park scene.

this year the parks are going to be on the stomping grounds and haywire every year there's about three pretty nice hits ranging from 20-40 feet and like 6 pretty nice rails. i have no idea about the haywire park this year because this will be the first year of it because the yard (previous years nicer bigger park) is sadly no longer. but needless to say the loaf always has a half descent park and its not a long ride to sunday riv (about 2 hours) and loon is a way but worth the ride

yea they are switching it up this year but last years park was pretty good. went there a couple weekends. They have decent rails set up. Also when I went they had step down type table top thing. It was basically a tabletop with a massive landing and was pretty steep. They then had a step up that was decent aswell

sugarloaf has certainly come a long way as far as the park goes. only problem is they need more than one because the main park gets really crowded sometimes, they need to open a smaller one for some of the younger kids to hang out in. Im not hating because Im all for people starting off somewhere and learning their shit in a safer environment and i feel like it's dangerous when theyre not sure what they're doing/park ediquette.
