most places actualy use stuff called puck board ( the stuff they use in hockey arenas) whistler tremblent etc use this its cheaper than lexan (95$ cdn for a 4x8 rather than about 200 for lexan) and does the same thing but basicaly teflon or any type of polyethyline should work but puckboard is the best stuff to use

there is puck board, lexan, linoleum, and that fake ice stuff that they use to make the boards u use to practice slapshots on in the summer. its like a shooting board (its a canadian summer hockey thing)
