so me and a bunch of friends are planning on going to a rave for halloween but ski season is coming up and I'm just thinking i really should stay out of trouble at least for this next couple weeks. I've never been to a rave but some of my friends have and say its not too bad i wont get in trouble and al this shit.

have in mind I'm 16 and sneaking out.. I just think it should be a blast for suure and if i dont go out to this I'll probably end up staying home all weekend. Don't hate, I just need some NS advice cuz I really dont know what to do and i wanna be smart about it. post your rave experiences and what i could avoid or if its even a good idea to go at all. Thanks a ton guys

I'd say go and have fun, but if you're trying to stay out of trouble definitely don't roll and obviously don't eat/drink anything someone you don't know gives you lol

anyone else? i want to have fun but don't wanna be stupid about it. any experiences with this kind of thing? or i have the option to just tell my parents its some "music festival" haha and try to convince them but they're phsyco and i wouldn't know what to expect. thanks guys! +k for legit advice.

i have been to two raves, at the first one some guy randomly punched me in the face and then ran away, the second one some guy randomly pulled a knife and cut my arm pretty bad. i dunno how raves are in your area, they might not be so wack, but i'm never ever going to a rave again.

Raves have been dead since the 90s. The rave scene here is full of angry ex ravers pissed off that the scene is dead, its really awful and the music is pretty bad too (im a house/electro/breaks DJ). Just make sure its at a legitimate spot, I wouldnt goto a warehouse rave or anything if your wanting to stay out of trouble. atleast at a club party/"rave" its the clubs fault if theres drugs, not yours.

haha yeeah it's get freaky!

and i have some mary j in my room but im thinking if im avoiding trouble i better not bring it with me, i'm not risking my whole season, im jus tscared if my parents find out they'd do anything ski wise since it's all i do in the winter but i dough they wouldnt let me ski haha 

Maybe i'll try and tell my mom its a music fest or something around those lines.

a rave isnt that cool unless your gonna take some sort of drug and are oky with having technicolored etards waving glow sticks in your face... if you like to groove to electranoise that is fun too...

Raves are fine,we have at least two to three a month here in Nelson in the summer time, of course they all consist of tons of drinking and a lot of drugs and dancing non stop until the late morning, but fucking shit its a gnarly sick time!

if your going to a rave, im assuming your planning on doing e, and that lasts a while, like 12 hours sometimes and afterwords you feel like shit


so id suggest staying home and watching a ski movie!

i think this is just something you need to decide for yourself...its your parents you know how they'll react.  as for a rave party...they're ok, something different, lots of drugs.  like the other dude said, watch your drink and don't take shit others give you.

tell em your going to a concert, and if they let you go and you think they will be up waiting for you when you get back, dont drop any e. You'll come home and talk at a million miles per hour all while chewing your own face like a piece of meat. Plus your pupils will be gigantic.

i agree. it lasts like 6. one of my friends takes this vitamin or something with it and claims it makes you roll harder and longer (like 8 maybe)

but i would go to it
just dont do anything stupid that you can't handle
ive never been to an actual rave, but ive been to some ravish concerts (Justice, Hot Chip, etc) and they are so much fun
i really want to go to an actual rave though

yea more like 3 or 4 and you feel great i dont know what you have been up too. but really if you do, take a binkey or alot of gum cause you are gonna MASH your teeth, its just somthing u do. And i would advise money for 5 dollar water bottles cause you need to drink water, and i would say to be in a group, never let go of eachothers hands and dont go off with people u dont know.

you are very young, if your not going with a vetran i would not advise you to go, i went to monster massive down here in LA and it was like 80000 people there and it was incredible, but as  a 16 year old i dont think thats a scene or group of people you need to know or want to go to.

this was last weekend.

watch all the second one, the bass is so strong you can feel it outside the arena, and holy fuck inside it could like knock you over.

then why the fuck would anybody take it. it's not worth the risk going into cardiac arrest just for a few hours of fun. Going to a dumbass party with lame music, annoying lights and a bunch of retards waving glowsticks in your face doesn't sound fun to me.
