Is it just me, or...?

Is the site just draggin ass the last few days? None of the pics are loading for me on any of the news updates or anything, and whenever I go to make a post it takes like 2 minutes for the text entry field to load...

This is going on all the time, not just when our dorm is swamped from like 5-8 with people wasting time on the internet/playing xbox live.

I can't imagine that it's an issue with my computer, I haven't installed anything in the last few weeks and I'm barely running any other programs, plus most other sites are still working fine...

What gives?

yes, i've been getting incessant "Network Timeout[s]".  it's ok tonight but the last few nights...yeah, reeeaally annoying.

We're getting record levels of traffic this month, so there's been some weaknesses that got uncovered basically. Paul has been working tirelessly to optimize everything and get it all working pimp for you guys!

Please do point out any errors you find though, its important for us to know about 'em!

^that plus i think a lot more people have been getting on because i notice a lot of threads are being posted by noobs with 5 or less posts

well it was working fine on my girlfriend's computer over the weekend but still not on our school network


BUT


today everything seems to be fine again for the first time in a week or so. pics and vids are loading properly and quickly again, as well as threads.

the reply to thread page is still taking a little more time than normal, but otherwise it all seems to be good!
