Has Anyone successfully made a diy 35 mill adapter?

I've been looking around at diy 35 mm adapters, and it doesn't look hard at all.

Has anyone here tried to make one or used one at all?

check out the DIY forum at hv20.com. there are some guides that i have read, and a one or 2 guys selling the adapters if you dont want to make it. there pretty helpful there but search before you post (over there i mean)
