ok im gonna post in here to teach people how to spell definitely, cause the person above me just butchered the word.

d e f i n i t e l y. break it down. thing of the root word as finite, then add a "de" in front of it. so now you have definite. then just add an ly to make it an adverb. its annoying to see diffffifinainatly and in all seriousness, ive see defiantly many times and im like "wait what? oh.... he tried saying definitely."
