I just watched Reasons for the first time and this is a truly outstanding movie. I think this is the first movie that PBP has put out since Session 1242 that is groundbreaking and worthy of the movie of the year title. I'm stoked that PBP has brought it back and put out an amazing vid after a few years of some less than stellar releases. Amazing movie......everyone should get it, or at least see it

i agree i felt like every shot that i saw i had already seen before. It seems like all of the footage came from hunting yeti, the x games, and the jon olsson videoblog

i just saw reasons last nite.
i must say i was very impressed because it was a big stray away from the typical " johnny" movie. i always liked his movies, but i like how he really changed it up. Yes, lower energy level overall, but the overall flow of the movie was a lot better then a typical johnny movie esp the intro. i thought the intro was done very well.
the backcountry was interesting. the shots did not get boring like most msp movies because of the cameras' distance to the rider was very close it seemed.
the urban worked. i cant really explain how or why, but it worked. it was creative and had very good shot angles.
overall, this movie kind of reminds me of idea in a sense that it will put you to sleep, but it flowed extremely well. the documentary part got a little verbal times, but most of the info was interesting and informative.

i think its become cliche to do the whole "i ski because this" junk. riding was pretty good

Just saw it. Im not going to lie, it's not my favorite ski movie ever, but it might be the best one Ive seen (from a filmmakers standpoint). They aimed for something different and with a little more substance than most ski movies, and they managed to pull it off without making it like a warren miller gaper film. more comments later.
