I just had a question for the people who have ridden the skis. I'm 5'8, 150 pounds and i'm looking to buy some new skis for park this year. I ride 171 Pipe Cleaners now and they are getting a tad beat so i'm looking to upgrade. I know the Volkl Wall is an amazing park ski and everyone likes them but i still can ride my Pipe Cleaners when i wanna ride a thinner waist ski so i was thinking about getting the Elizabeth for a park ski this year because it's a lot different and sounds like a fun ski.

Any advice on the ski would be great! Again sorry for creating this but i'm just looking for some feedback on the skis. Also i was thinking about getting the Salomon Sth 14 or 16 for the skis.

reeeaally different skis. ones stiff, ones not. ones symetrical, ones not. one has a 115mm waist, one has an 87mm. really depends what your gonna be skiing. since you already have pipe cleaners id probably go with the lizzies just because you can ride them as an all mountain and pow ski when yo arent in the park. then mount em up with some sth14s and get PUMPED!

the lizzies arent 115mm in the waist they are 110. and they are definentally not a pow or all mnt ski. straight up park ski

k i got mixed up between the bacon and the lizzie, they do have a 110mm waist. but i know a bnch of people rip on them all over the mountain. and hes 5'8", if he mounts them at suggested wich is like 2cm back from center, they would be fine anywhere on the mountain. definately not a straight up park ski.

NO. they were made as a park ski. Just cause they have width doesnt mean they are all mountain they are only 171 which is way to small for an all mnt ski on a 5'8" person. definentally straight up park ski

this is what line even says:

i plan on using them as fat park skis and just riding around obviously when im just messing around in trees and such. But they are going to be used in park just as much as my pipe cleaners i just wanted to go with something different in the park since i already have a thin waist ski that rips.

i skied my lizzies every where last year, the park, the pow, the groomers, steeps moguls, and pretty much everywhere else you can imagine. I love them with my whole heart. they turn excellent, they pop, they are buttery, who ever said that they can only be used in park is sooooooo wrong. yeah they can be used as a all park ski but they also can pretty much go every (except ice is kinda scetch). im also around the same size at you, i think they will be a great fit.

STH 14 with a wide break a good binding for these skis and for park and everything? i've heard the markers are nice too.

i dont think he ment it can only go in the park he is saying thats what it is built for and its what it should be used for if you use the elizabeth as an all mountain ski then you ski like a pussy

Sounds like you already made your choice.. Personally I would go for Jesters over STH14s (STH Drivers would be better).. Go for the Lizzies, I rode both last year and much prefered the Lizzies.. The walls are a good park ski and can be skied all over no doubt.. but the lizzies are a million times more fun.. They can be ridden anywhere and as anyone who has actually skied them knows.. they are much more than just a park ski.. they kill it in powder for your size (and mine) turn on a dime and rip everything.. ok so i wouldn't race on them but they hold up ok at speed.. great ski you wont be disappointed no matter what you ski..

whoa there noob!  so what your saying is that an all mountain ski should be a 190+ ski or you're a pussy?? lizzies have been out since a couple seasons now and tons of people have been using them for an all mt / pow / park ski... believe me, none of the people i know who uses the elizabeth "ski like a pussy". these skis actually super fun at allmt if the ski is right for you.

please stop posting stupid shit like this and start helping out fellow ns'ers by posting helpful content.

i think the lizzies are fine for people from the east and low level mnts but the truth is that it to short for most people to take out of the park into deeper snow. 171 doesnt cut it even if you are the best skier in the god damn world.

So dont be a chomo and post stupid shit start helping other ns'ers by posting helpfull content

to the thread creator: lizzies should be a super fun ski even as an all mt ski so don't be afraid to pic up a pair, but if you're still sketchy about them just demo a pair and i'm sure you'll love them.

thats cool man, but im using them for park and center mounting them. my last question is, are they light? or heavy? some fatter skis can be pretty heavy? has anyone jumped or used them on rails a lot?

 the hellbent was designed as a powder ski, yet a lot of people use them in the park and they tend to work fine. For smaller people the elizabeth works fine as a powder and all mountain ski, they may have been designed as a park ski for eric pollard, but they can work as a powder ski for other people
