I work at ski co but I don't know what I can really do for ya.

Just bug them about it. Before I worked there I walked in with the bacons and they were just like "ZOMG FAT SKIS!!!!!!!!1!!!!!one!!!!!!" and I asked them how much it would be to mount and it ended out being a no mount charge. So if you bug them, or they totally hit on your skis maybe you can get a deal. I'll let you take the bacons in with you if you need some help gettin love.

I have no idea. I showed up, brought the skis in, went to the bindings, grabbed 2 pairs of Griffons, asked how much to mount since I didn't buy the skis from them, was told no cost as they were cumming all over my skis.

It was free cause you bought the bindings there. If you buy bindings its a free mount.

Yea that will cost a shit load.

Binding mount is now $60 and I think the stone grind and wax is like $35 at Ski Co.

how the fuck can they charge 60 bucks for drilling 16 holes? it takes like 20 minutes. if they say 60 i will straight up tell them i will do it my fucking self. i wouldnt fuck it up as bad as they could too.

Who told you $85? Is it cuz they're so wide? They didn't have a template big enough for the Bacons.

But yeah it's a massive rip off for the mount. They set their DINs for recreational levels too. I am 5'8" and 140, they set me for a 6 DIN on Griffon bindings. Matt is 5'9" and 180 and they set him at a 6 too on Griffons. I was blowin out of my skis just playin around with them in the back yard. Same thing with Matt.

Haha silly you, that's where your DIN is supposed to be.  It's just the fact that you're using poopy plastic marker bindings that they're pre-releasing.

Dude i've said this once, and I'm saying it again. YOUR DIN SHOULD BE AT 6. For your weight, and skiing ability that's what it should be. When I was 140 pounds my din was at like 5.5. Your din should be 6. If not, you're just gonna get hurt.

My professional opinion would be, put them at 10, and if they still pre-release when you ski them, bump them up by 1, and so on. That's what I was doing last year. And also with FKS, forward pressure has A LOT to do with pre-releasing, you have to get everything down right.

thats good advice to follow. and you were prolly pre releasing at 11 because bindings are not supposed to be taken to their max. max a 12 DIN binding should be at is 10. Any more and it just maxes out the spring and isnt good so you will get that pre-releasing shit.
