PE or El Ray

I am looking for an all-mountain/park ski. I can get a good deal on either what do you guys think. I weight 170 lbs and am 5'10"

El Rays will be better in park and are softer for butters. PEs are stiff, and heavy. I would say El Rays

both great skis, id say go with the pe, its meatier and its got sidewall construction. wich is always better than cap in my opinion.

but its really your choice dude. i vote PE

go with PE's. they may be heavy and stiff, but i think with your height/weight, that would be good for you. the el rays are a little on the soft side. they still do decent in the occasional powder run too.

i would say el rays. they are a really nice ski that does well in the park and all mtn. they are really light and i think the cap construction is sweet. i have a friend that got them last year that is close to your size and he loved them, used them for everything.

El Rays!! The Pe's are very heavy so they are not that great for park riding

I have the 07 174 PE... stiff and can charge through anything, idk much about the El Rays but i hear they are more suited for the park, just hope they arent to soft and will wash out on you.... idk my vote is on the PE...your choice tho

i would say.. neither.. El Rays are ok but PEs are heavy and lifeless.. there are better choices out there..

Loads and loads of skis in this category.. most park skis will handle a good bit of all mountain just not pow too well..

El Ray no questions one of my friend loves his El Ray's they are a good starter ski though but that is just my opinion.

el reys probably

pe's are super bomber and stiff - not that it's bad, just a fact to take into consideration as opposed to noodle-esque el reys

PEs are bombproof, and if you are looking for an all mountain ski, they are the way to go.  They can shralp the park and still go other places. 

People who diss them probably suck at skiing and can't handle the radness.
