Also it helps to aim your upper body in which direction you hope to spin. By this, I mean if you want to spin donhill, face your hips, shoulders and head down the hill. Because theres very little friction between your skis and the rail, any upper/lower body separation you have on the rail will lead your skis in the direction your upper body is going.
Sounds kinda confusing in the way I've worded it, but basically get your upper body spinning in the direction you wanna go before your skis start spinning.
