Southpark going downhill the same way the simpsons went downhill?

some of the recent episodes sucked so much. they werent funny at all and cartmans voice doesnt sound the same as it used to. I dont know isnt this like the 12th year of southpark? i feel like their running out of material or maybe stone and parker are just tired. what do you think?

i thought the same thing.
it seems like the episodes are becoming entirely based around cartman, even though the ideas arent new at all. like when he fought wendy, they did that last season, just with a midget.
although the raping of indiana jones was kinda funny.

i am deeply disturbed at the declining quality of South Park recently. every episode is the same
Random ass shit that isnt funny (pan flute bands)
develops into a plan to do some other unfunny stuff (making their own)
turns out to be a huge government conspiracy
thats it. every new episode. wheres the cleverness? wheres the subtle social commentary while I'm still laughing my ass off at immature but beautifully set up plots?

honestly, i thought Imagination Land was one of their shining moments and that wasn't that long ago... and the last two episodes were awesome.

yeah sometimes i think that stone and parker arent even doin it anymore they might have hired other people or something or they just hired people to write the script and they just do the voice who knows

I think that some of the recent seasons have been excellent.
Granted, i watched like 95% for the first time in the last 8 months, but still, there are merits from beginning to present.
There area couple lesser episodes in season 12 (i thought the chinese one tried too hard) but for the most part, there are some great episodes, including last nights' (i thought it was pretty damn good). And season 11 (last year remind you) had numerous gems. So... I pretty much fully disagree.

i think there all doing just fine. i mean, everyone has a bad day right? i love simpsons, south park and family guy. they all rock. better than watching other shows on.
