anyone know about this heli op?
anyone done it before or had friends who worked for them?
what is blue river like? will i want to kill myself because its so boring?
what hills are in the area other than sun peaks? i know there is a harper mountain, but it sounds like snoozetown.

I believe clearwater has a hill.. super small though.
Mike Wiegele is blue river.. nothing to do other than ski and sled.
Everyone I know who has worked for a heli op has got 20 plus days in on a heli though. I know Mica lets their employees use the cat as well.

my buddy drives the cat for them. I've never really talked to him about it though. I would imagine you get some heli days. He's had them but he used to be pro and his girlfriends dad owns the place. If you had a seld it would be prime. Even a used sled that was cheap or something, but if you don't know anyone in town then it might be boring socially.

thanks for the input.
getting a seat on the off days in the heli would be great, but i'd be perfectly happy with cat. take what you can get ya know.
the town has about 260 people. but i read that the ski op is about 45km north of the town so i would be making friends with only the people that work there.
its time for a change of pace though, banff has worn me out and i hate most of the people here.
