theres several reasons.

1. its expensive (id rather spend my $$$ on ski gear)

2. its illegal

3. i dont want the rep as a pot-head

I'm a 21 year old college junior, never smoked weed in my life. I won't say I never will, but I just don't really have an urge to. Basically all my friends have smoked weed, and i almost tried a couple times in high school but in the end just decided i didn't really need it or want it

I never smoked anything, never tried cigarettes, cigar or weed or even shisha, just never voluntarily inhaled smoke. I certainly don't regret it, it looks, and smell discuting (in my opinion) and don't even get me started on the medical issues I brings. And it even cost a lot of $$$ with I would rather put some places else... so yea...

i had the same mindset at 14, and 15 actually
now im 16, and just got really curious. i smoked a "cigar" once (black and mild), and that was just fuckin dumb.
and ive smoked weed twice. the first time i didnt really feel much. everyone says you dont get high your first time, but i figured it was becasue people didnt know how to smoke. ive been around people smoking for like 3 years now, so i figured id know what to do. which i did, but i didnt get that high.

second time, holy shit.

I have a lot of friends who smoke and it doesn't bug me, and it doesn't bug them that I don't so it's all cool in my eyes.

i started smoking after i graduated from high school, and when i look back i think it was a very good idea, I had a great time with my friends without it, and i value that time, but now that im in college, weed helps me keep my shit in check and its so much easier/more fun with a whole bunch of friends and so much freedom.

Whats your point? That doesn't change the fact that its illegal.

Ive never tried it and im a junior in college so im constantly looking for a job or internship. I can't even tell you how many times one of my friends started freaking out because they had an unexpected drug test soon after smoking. So untill its legalized, ill stick with beer.
