ok so i've posted a couple times saying that im goin up to baker but no one could ever go. So well yesterday was just too nice of a day for me to pass up going. My original plan was to drive up to artists point and then hike till i find snow. As i got there i found the road up to artists point was closed, so i pulled on my back pack and started off. Hiking up the road sucks because it was mostly slush, which then turned to snow, but still walking up that road sucks.I then decided to just climb strait up. Then I met back up with the road about the same time a couple snow boarders were on their way back down. We thought it would be a good idea to drop this 10 foot cliff, the boarders pushed up some snow and i dropped. How ever it was a really bad idea since i was dropping into like 4 inches of snow and a bunch of rocks. Long story short that hurt really bad. Any way i continued on, and the boarders left. I climbed up around the north side of artist point instead of the road, which was awesome because the view is crazy. At the top there was about 6 to 8 inches of snow and some fun things to play around on like a wind lip thing, i even was able to build a jib on a bench. The way back down sucked though because i chose to just ski down the road, which was incredibly slow and slushy. All in all it was a dope crystal clear day and i got to get some fun skiing in. and sorry i dont have pictures, im poor and dont have a camera. but next time lets get some peeps together and hit it up.
