So I just tried on some Full tilts...

And wow!

these are the best fitting boots I have ever tried on in my life...I've never worn a boot that was so perfect, it was like my foot was having an orgasm....that said, they are not for everyone

I strongly suggest that you try a pair on at a shop because if they do fit your foot you'll love em, im gonna buy myself a pair for sure

i don't think any of the shops around here carry Full Tilt, i know they didn't last season. if i could get my hands on some i think i would buy them, if they fit well.

finally got my hands on a pair from a buddy.  my god.....sickest boot ever.  unbelievable flex, best fitting, so comfortable.  lightest boots ever proabbly a good 3-4 pounds lighter than my old boots. 

its not hype kids these things are legit.  get your store to order them in.

when I was a kid I had some of the old reichlle- spelling is way off but pronounced (rake-lay) boots, same style as the full tilts and I loved them soo much.  They fit so good and felt even better when I was skiing.  Been looking to a shop that carries ful tilt for a couple years.

Just curious, but what style of full tilt did you try? and how would you compare the flex to like a 80, 100, 120 flex rating scale?

I am sorry to be a lamer, but I feel that it has to be said.

Pretty much every boot out there can be considered an amazing boot to a lot of people, it just has to do with how it fits. That is awesome that the full tilts fit you and that you like them, but I feel that making a thread (especially if you are someone who people can look up to) touting the fact that they are an awesome boot is irresponsible.

I realize that you said that they are not for everyone, but the truth is, they are not for MOST people. Full Tilt boots have a very narrow last that will not fit 90+% of people out there. I realize that you can work on any boot to get it to fit most any foot, but again, 90% of the people who buy boots do not do this, they just live with the pain.

To think that because Seth or some other big name rider uses them means anything is silly. The likelihood that he rides an unaltered full tilt boot is very slim, whether just punched to fit or performance wise.

I am sorry for the long rant, but I just thought it unreasonable to hype any boot... they are all good, it just depends on what flex works for you and how it fits your foot. I am very glad that they fit your feet, and don't want to take away the superb feeling a fantastic fitting boot can give, I just thought I would share my feelings.

i definitely agree with your statements, they won't fit a lot of people, but everyone should try them because if they do fit you, it's amazing

my real only complaint with full tilts is how soft the plastic that makes up the sole lugs is, they wear out fast, and are non replaceable.

as for size they fit a tad smaller then most other boots, for example a 26 in lange is 308mm and a full tilt 26 is 301mm, I know our shop stocks them down to a 24, I do not know however what size they can be orderd down to maybe a 23 (mens) but 24 might be as low as it goes.

What I find strange is that I have a wider foot, so I was fitted for some boots. I'm not going to say what because you probably know, as everyone and there grandma have a pair. But I leaned toward this pair because of my foot size. They fit great, and I could not have been more stoked. But after spending all summer long climbing in TIGHT ass shoes it seems my foot isn't as wide. I was fitted for some full tilts and they fit like a glove.

I don't think I could have said that last year.

ok, i tried on the spk 2 days ago, it didn't fit my foot at all, and it also weighs a ton, but I can't really say because i haven't skied with it yet

I gotta disagree with you here. The boot is on the narrower side, but no where near not being able to fit 90% of the people out there. I have a medium width foot and mine fit great, especially after heat molding

my mid foot is wide but my heel is narrow.

when i tried on this years konflicts they fit great, but could use punching out near my pinky toe.  the girl said it would get better as they pack out too, and i know this.  apparently though the shell is pretty thin on FT's so they have to grind instead of punch.

oh yea, decided to buy the konflicts in 28.0  i got them on layawayyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

$570 when it was all said and done.

with the older raichlies and the kneissels  just be careful that you dont bust the shells slightly behind the middle buckle, i have heard that the full tilt people have tried to fix the problem with differt plastics, but they still suffer from the same breakage.  Dont get me wrong, after using the kneissels i love the boots and have a new pair of full titls for this season, i just wish that they were a little more durable...some ppl could easily bust a pair in a season, and the heel portion & the actual foot section are the only parts they dont sell replacements for... at least if they break this year they may qualify for warranty ; and dont wast your time trying to actually call the company and  ask if you can buy the parts that you cant find on the site bc you will get snapped at and told they dont mold extras for those parts.  One shell for one boot, poop

the model A is their entry level boot from last year...they fit almost all the same, the only real difference is the liner and stiffness of the boot, the actual boot design doesn't really change from model to model

what you're paying for is the liner and the color scheme on the boots,

also, the footbed (not directly what your foot touches, but below it).  The lower models dont have much padding, where the park boots (hot dogger) has rubber for padding.  You're also paying for whatever stock toungue comes with that particular boot, even though they are replacable.

And if you loe them when you tried them on in a shop...wait until you heat mold em.  I just got a pair of hot doggers and had to heat mold them twice to get the perfect fit, but theyre money now.  That's what's great about the intuition liner, you can re-mold it multiple times.

On another note, anyone wanna buy some Dalbello Rampages in 26.5?

get superfeet

i used to have foot problems from sports (skiing, soccer, tennis...), but i invested in some superfeet and it all went away. i used gel pads before but they didn't help at all, they just seemed comfy. i would recommend superfeet for sure, but beware they are like $30-40.

a custom insole, like the ones made by sidas (conform'able) will be worlds better than stock superfeet. def def pricier, but they totally change the fit of the boot.

with the intuition liner, you dont need or want custom footbeds.  The liner itself molds to your entire foot.  I had custom footbeds in my old boots and put them in a gym shoe, they wouldnt work with the liner.  I was talking about whats under the liner, as in padding.

a lot of people, including me use footbeds with intutions. You can put them in the shell, under the liner and then when you mold the liner molds to the shape of the footbed and your foot, giving you more support and a better fit.

i just tried on my garmont radiums....let me tell you wow! this is the boot for me AND YOU, they weigh 4 pounds 9 ounces. stiffer than my kryptons ,  and i can use them with my dynafit bindings. anyone who hasnt considered getting an ultra light touring set up seriously should. omg omg

full tilts are so dope!!! i had a few hot spots that i wish i would've got worked out though.....i've heard the dalbello il mora is a very comparable boot just with a more advanced buckle system...anybody want to elaborate on that
