I know there are loads of threads on these but I have read them all and this is a specific question..
I am 5'8 140 pounds 304mm BSL.. I ski hard and have a bad habit of slamming my skis hard on to rails.. landing backseat and front seat switch.. My DIN will be 7-9..
So I have been looking at bindings for a while to go on Moment Jibs and Rockers.. Looked at Griffons but I don't trust the heelpiece.. Now I am looking at the Solly STH 12s and maybe 14s.. But I have some concerns about them and so wanted to see what people have thought of the 12s..
Basically I had old Solly 910s and had problem after problem.. prereleases all the time..twisting out of the toepiece.. always popping off on rails.. I am worried by the short elastic travel and the three hole toepiece having pulled bindings out of my walls last year (i know that was the skis but still).. and yesterday a mate couldn't stick his flat 5s without pre-releasing out of his z10s..
Are the STH 12s better? How has everyone found them?
