My skis?

ok here goes, ive been lurking this forum pretty hard for a while now and i need some help on choosing skis for this season. Im going out to tremblant for a 10 week course type thing and half of which is park stuff. i ski usually a couple of times a year and only the last few times that ive been skiing have i got into freestyle stuff eventhough ive been skiing since i was 3, now i really plan to get into it.
basically i need a ski that will be nice in the park but at the same suitable for getting an instruction qualification and a bit of powder. Im 18 , 1.785 m and about 67 kg.
ive been looking at blends but am wondering what size and thinking about where id want to mount them

any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance

since im a stupid american im gonna need that in feet and pounds but i think your on the right track with blends.

Ski le gap?

What sort of ski have you ridden before? Do you prefer stiff or playful? Is this gonna be your only ski?
Because for instruction, a slightly stiffer ski is my preference (better edge hold) with a fairly narrow waist (no wider than 85mm)
The more info the better but we can work with what you gave.

yeah man ski le gap. casi is kinda wack but whatever, thats not really what its about for me.

up until now ive only ever skiid rental skis and the last twin tips i skid were so weak they said 'x park' on them or something i cant even think what they were.
i was thinking the same thing about something stiffer but then at the end of the day i can ski so for my level one casi i dont think id need anything too stiff. and yeah i was really leaning towards this seasons blends haha

haha, that's cool man.

Blends would be a sweet choice for you man, mid 170s to high is where I'd be going. Mount at -2/-5 will be best, further forward for the park, further back for the pow.
Other skis to check out would be the Moment reno freebird, maybe the Ruby (96 waist).
Also if you fancy wider, then the Volkl Bridge would be legit.
Dynastar Troublemakers/big trouble, K2 Extremes and Kung fujas. 4frnt MSPs or TNK. Armada ARV (slightly softer).
But try to test a few out before you buy if you can, get a real feel for the way they will handle making turns as well as park.

yeah i was thinking the kung fujas would also be pretty sick. but i reckon ill go with a 178 and maybe mount around -3 or -4. as far as bindings go im not too sure either? maybe dynastar px12s

i haven't heard much about the kung fujas, but px12s are really solid, yet kinda heavy

I'd say chronics they have a nice stiff flex hold an edge quite  and are great for the ocasionel pow run they hold up in the park nicely as well
