okay so i just got a pair of k2 fujatives (used only a little bit) and a pair of tecnica agent 80s. so i decided to go flex these out on the carpet. So I started getting my tips up and my tails but I started getting some pain in my heels. Is this a usual occurance with buttering and nosepresses? Since i had the pes the last few years and i didnt butter them at all. Or is it is the new boots not getting fully broken in yet? I have worn the boots around the house just not skied on them. Lastly this might sound like a dumb question but is flexing your skis not that great for them? Or does it not do any harm?
yea definetly se a boot fitter. also what i've heard is that skis actually get a little flexier if you do a ton of presses, and the more wear you put into them. not sure about that but im almost positive it won't cause any harm to them.
It means your boots dont fit right. There should be no pain, unless you just are saying that youre a boot pussy. Apparently thats the technical industry term.
I've always had pain in my heals from leaning way over the front. It's not that bad, but I think that with basically all of your weight pushing into your heals it's hard not to have a bit of pain.
man my full tilts killed when i first had them, but i shell fitted them to a one finger spacing. it took them 2 weeks to pack out, and then heat molding, but now they are mint, and i get absolutely no pain. but for those first two weeks they killed.
that's the beauty of boot fitting though, boots will kick ass in the long run.
