Thanks Mt.Snow and Mt.Snow Park Crew.
Hopefully launchpad is open tomorrow.
Here is what the site says:
"Ladies, gentlemen, park rats of all ages... the set-up on Launch Pad
was not something one and two-plankers are used to seeing this early in
the season. Mount Snow’s park crew didn’t stop at just one or two
boxes. After all, it would have wasted all of that beautiful snow we
made. Instead, there was something for everyone with a total of seven
features. From top to bottom, we had a mailbox, handrail, down box,
culvert bonk, flat-down box, and the choice of either a culvert jib or
a modest kicker.
So what does the future hold for snowmaking? Temperatures will be on
the warmer side tonight so we won’t be turning on the guns, but the
weather outlook for the rest of the week looks promising. If the
forecast temperatures are correct, we’ll be blowing snow Tuesday and
Wednesday night, and into the weekend if the snow gods are smiling.
Stay updated here on the snow report for details on Launch Pad's status.
This much is guaranteed: as long as there’s snow on the ground, you
better believe Launch Pad is open to the public. And we’re not even
going to charge you to ride our super fancy jib park. That’s right,
kids, sliding in October is FREE. Who’d of thunk it? Just make sure you
pick up a “lift ticket” before you start jibbing your little heart out.
It makes a pretty sweet souvenir, too.
