Pulle system

ive been thinkin about this for a while. would it be possible to rig a pulley system up to the end of an urban? this would need no drop in or building snow. you just have friend pull the other end of the rope. which would be easy cause it only pulls a third of the weight so it would be able to get you going faster in a third of the space?
