176 vs. 181 & Centermount vs. -2

Ive been rocking centermounted 180s for the past few years. 5"11 190lbs. Would there be a huge change if I switched to centermounted 176s, or -2 181's? I ski 50% park, 50% all mountain.
Not sure if I wanna go 176 ar6's centermounted or 180 chronics at -2
and for you people who ski a 180, have you noticed any difference in skiing a 176?

why even consider the 176. unless you really like short skis. you should be able to handle the 181 ar6 just fine. and im not usually one to be like "buy longer skis" but you should be fine on the 181s

True... i think im way to big for 176, but it could be fun in the park.

-2 shouldnt be too noticeable, but it will probably ride a little better out of the park than a centermounted ski. if you're always in the park, centermount. if you get out of it on occasion, mount -2.

Ya, have you guys noticed a big difference in your switch skiing with your skis mounted at -2? I love em dead center riding switch and dont wanna feel a difference if they are -2, but I also want to be able to ski them out of the park better

if you had two identical pairs of skis, one mounted center and one mounted -2, you would probably be able to tell a minor difference when skiing switch. in my opinion, however, skiing switch will always feel substantially different and therefore no ski will ever ski identically switch as it would regular. basically, i would decide where to mount based on how much time spent skiing each direction. if you spend just as much time skiing switch as you do skiing forward, mount center for sure. otherwise, probably go -1 or -2. just my 2 cents.

id recommend the chronics, but thats because ive never skied armada... but i would also recommend trying some moment reno jibs in a 181 centermounted...
