ive already had my line athems drilled twice, and right now they are 1 in behind center and i want them center
is having them drill another time a bad idea? would they be to easy to break?

thatd still make the boot insole too small..... and yes i know you can adjust the heel but it will break the binding a lot easier like that. sweet spot on the anthems is supposed to be 1/2-1 cm back from center anyways. This was told to me by someone who rides for line and has gone through several pairs of anthems, so im going to trust him. im about to be called an idiot by all of you anyways though, so why bother justifying.

I'm not calling you an idiot, but why does adjusting a heel make it any easier to break a binding unless you are talking about adjusting it to the complete extreme?

As for the sweet spot on anthems, they were intended to be mounted centre due to their symmetry so i can't see how anything outside of that could be better?

^because i used to mount bindings for my job and every binding that ive seen broken on the heelpiece is because its not centered on the plate
I don't know, the guy told me but we discussed it and figured it was because boots have forward lean and the way you weight the arc on the ski just makes sense that way. Just what he was saying though, so pm colston if you doubt me.

sounds lik eyou already have a bunch of holes..id realllllly try and avoid drilling new ones, i work in a ski shoop and see so many busted skis cuz they drilled them only twice.

i am calling you an idiot, not because of the mounting reference, but the fact that you know nothing about how bindings can adjust.  Bambam is a shop tech and knows his shit.

on a different note,  the anthems are meant to be mounted at the recommended line, which is 5mm back from dead center. NOT true center.  the thing is, most people are too damn dumb to measure out which end is meant to be the tip and which is supposed to be the tail.  i would go so far to say that half the people on anthems are riding them a bit forward mounting.  that 5mm back accounts for the forward lean of ski boots, putting your center of gravity right over dead center of the ski.  people riding them backwards have their center of gravity a cm forward of center resulting in a difference in the performance of the ski.  though it may be a minor detail, it is one that almost everyone overlooks.
