Your thoughts on scalping tickets

Never done it, but I am always annoyed when my favorite shows sell out, so I always try to get tickets the first day.  I've heard mixed reviews on scalping, just wanted to see when ns'ers thought about it, whether it is morally wrong or not

i went to a 12:00 red sox game once and some guy was trying to sell us tickets with seats that are only open for night games. and the tickets are always more than face value.

Bought 4 tickets to World Series game 3 of Red Sox vs Rockies for $65 apiece and sold the two extra tickets i didn't need for $400 a piece right outside the stadium.  Scalping is fun

Bahhaha. These people are losers. They dont have a useful life skill of their own, so instead spend their days/nights trying to make cash on other people's success and popularity. Scalpers are the human equivalent of a parasite.

That said, there's no problem with reselling your ticket at face value.

Once upon a time, my awesome girlfriend bought me tickets to a Tigers game for our 3 year anniversary. So I'm pumped, we get in the car, drive to the D and pay like 10 bucks for parking. We walk to the stadium and BAM, no tickets. I left them in the bathroom at home. So I bought some tickets for 30 a piece, 5 bucks over face. I was actually glad the guy was there, because I would have felt terrible if I ruined the day.
