Running for president of my school....

So, im going to run for pres of my school, and i was just thinking about what stance i could take, my initial thought was to run as a communist cause i go to a very small school, and i think most kids would vote for that sort of propaganda.

Just throw out some ideas of what you would think would be good, or even funny, cause i dont even necessarily(sp) want to become president, it would just be a bonus if thru stupid acts i become president

hand out dozens of signs and have one of your friends tell people you offer their protection. if there is anyone else running for president create a pinata replica and smash it in the parking lot. Conclude with a dance at your speech to the song "canned heat. "

i was co-campaign manager for one of my best friends in high school when he ran for president as a joke. in order to run, you had to give a speech during assembly to outline your platform

we thought that was bullshit, since i had 3 other good friends who were on student council and they didnt do ANYTHING important.

so instead of doing the speech, we made a list of 10 campaign slogans, and chris went up there, said a little intro, and then just read them.

i dont remember all of them, but the first one was "1, 2, 3, vote for me" and #2 and #9 were both "what time is it? chris time!" the rest were equally stupid/awesome.

this may seem like a "you had to be there" kind of thing, but just think of your tallest, goofiest friend going up on stage and doing something like that...we all just about choked to death we were laughing so hard.

on top of that, i heard from some of the counters that he actually won the election by a huge margin, but the deans rigged it so that the yearly election cycle wouldnt turn into a total joke...and because all the political nerds at our school relied on that shit for their college applications and chris was already smart enough to get into the state's best engineering program without having "student body president" on his resume

Just do what every single class president for as long as I can remember has done at my school: just make jokes, and talk about how you won't make promises that you can't uphold.

I do not think that the president of a school has the power to raise taxes to a township or a city. I also do not think that the school president has the power to decide whether or not women can have their babies or not

haha i remember this at my school. it was between this scrawny retarded kid named robby, this hot chick and a couple other nerds. definitly throw a parade for your self around the school or something. or alwasy go to school dressed like jesus with that robe and some sandals. oh shit i just decided what my haloween costume is going to be!
