Tecnica agent boot specs?

So, I tried on the Tecnica Dragon 100 at my shop today and it fit awesome, but I think the agent is cheaper and more park/freeride oriented, but I don't know what the similarities are.

On the Tecnica site, it looks like the agent 110 is the same shell as the dragon. It's almost $90 more expensive though.

So now I'm thinking about the Agent 95. How similar is this boot (would like to hear from people who have tried on both or all 3) to the dragon100 or agent 110? Mainly concerned about the instep, because for some reason my foot won't work in any boots I try on except the dragon 100 (the only tecnica I was able to try on). The bootfitter was perplexed.

dude the dragon 100s are sick.  they are a little more free ride than park, but they are still a milder flex.  and at a 100 last, they shouldbe plenty comfy.  the agent 95s are a bit woder, but it's almost the same flex.  just get the dragons.  unless you ski all park.

Yeah the dragons felt sick, but they're not the cheapest boots...

hey man, spending money on boots is going to pay off way more than spending money on skis.  if you have the extra cash spend it, because it will pay off ten times better when you ski better.

plus boots usually last a few seasons, skis don't as much, so spend the money on boots because it's sooo worth it.

Yeah, it's not like I'm not going to get them because of the cost, but if there's another boot that fits as well and is more park oriented and cheaper, I'll go for that instead.

So bump for the agent 95 versus the dragon 100.

i havnt ridden any, but i tried them all on at my shop. they agent 110 is the same as the dragon series shell, but a softer plastic, with freeride specific features like a cork zeppa and gel in the tung and spoiler. the agent 95 has a 102mm last, so if the dragons fit right, you'll want an agent 110

So how did the agent 95 feel compared to the other two (the agent 95 has a 100mm last by the way)? They're all in the medium volume category. The agent 110 would be ideal, but it's also around $700 if my shop orders it in. The agent 95 is cheaper.

sorry, i got the 80 confused with the 95. the main difference between the dragon, agent 110, and agent 95 is the plastic. the more expensive, the stiffer the plastic, the more power you can deliver to the ski edge. the softer, less expensive plastics can have their advantages too, theyre much easier to get into, more comfortable, and more forgiving (ideal for park). the softer plastics are in no way less durable. just kinda depends on what you want out of you boots

yea, the main difference was between the dragon and the agent. the agent has a shock absorbing spoiler and tung, which made them fit tighter around your calf, but they can be removed, producing a near identical fit
