how strict is the us/canada border? can someone under 18 cross it alone?

well yeah you can cross it alone but do you have your passport? 'cause you'll be needing that.

when ever i bring friends to my cottage they always need a letter signed by both parents

i was thinking it'd be something like that....i thought you didn't need a passport when going by land.. no?

youll need one for next year but for now youll be good with your birth certificate and driver lisence
