or you could practice all year then show your self just in time for the last little bit of filming and shit.either way its still a good way to get noticed
true, but from a riders standpoint I think it's better to get exposure earlier in the season, that way if your good you can get more support when theres still a lot of time left in the comp season.
I always thought it was a bad idea to have it so early because it creates a huge disadvantage to kids whose moutnains dont put their parks up till like mid january. Its also really ahrd to get a whole runa nd all your tricks dialed by that early in season.
It's from February 26th-March 1st and it's still at Copper.
They told us the reasons behind the date change are because having it later will give more time for higher snow accumulation so they'll have more to work with (and therefore be able to build a better course), and because the weather is generally better later in the year.
