Quick photag question!! HELP!?!?!

ok so im trying to shoot wine pouring into a glass indoors, i want a fast shutter speed to capture the flow of wine, but no flash, how can i setup my cam to do this? everytime i take a shot with a fast shutter speed it comes out uber dark HELP!!!

The reason it is so dark with a high shutter speed is bc it is takin it so fast, there isnt eenought time for light to get in.
if you have one, set it to SUPER MACRO, FLASH, AND PUMP UP THE SHUTTER SPEED.
that might help.

You could do that, it might not help too much though, also it would give you some vertical shadows. You might just want to try it outside tomorrow and use a tele with a large max aperture and blur out the background which would give you a high shutter speed.

Put the camera in aperture value mode. Open up the aperture. Look at your shutter speed. If it's not fast enough to freeze motion, boost the ISO.

In the end, you might not have a lens that can open up enough to get the shot. Get as much light in there as you can, set the aperture wide open, pump the ISO if you need to and put the shutter speed where you want it. It shouldn't have to be SUPER fast... so try it at slower speeds and see if that works.

that will help :)

you really need a wide aperture, too capture all the light you can, so that a fast shutter speed doesnt underexpose. What camera do you have?
