Advice on skis

Hi,
I'm looking to get some skis for this coming season (haven't skied for awhile) . I was looking for some advice on what brands are best for such and such style. I mostly want a pair that are for park, but maybe just a little mountain to them.

Height: 6'1
Weight: 200lb
Skill Range: Intermediate/Advanced
Ski Style: Park/maybe a tad mountain
Ski Price Range: 180-300$ give or take a little
Boot Size: 27

I was also wondering about how you figured Full Tilt Model A's would work with my preferred style? If those wouldn't work what brand in general should i try to look for in a boot to fit my style?

Alright, so basically, you're a bigger guy who wants a park ski that can handle all mountain.  Cool.

The Ledges are dece, but the Walls and Bridges are better.  Both are Volkls and I think the ledge is just a step down quality-wise, but I'm not sure.  I know that the Wall and the Bridge have been recieving rave reviews since their debut, so maybe look into getting those?  I'm sure you can find last years, either new or used, for much cheaper.

You may also want to look into the Armada AR6 or the Line Chronic.  The Armadas are a jib ski, and I think you'd be good on those, because lots of people have said that they conquer both all mountain and the park very well.  The Chronics are a stiffer park ski, so if you're looking for more jumping, you may want to consider those.

As for boots, don't worry about "specialty boots."  If the Full Tilts fit you, then buy them.  It may be the type of boot you want, but type of boot < fit.  Try on some boots.  They need to fit, and don't just go off of what people say.  You need to do that for yourself or you may end up regretting it with shin/toe bang partway through the season...

Thanks for the help! I cant see to find a 08 model ar6 on any websites unless maybe I'm missing some important ski websites. If anyone could find a website,I would be willing to check into the ar6's preferably in the 08 model. In the meanwhile i did find some Walls on evogear.com. My question now is how big should i get skis? As said above I'm 6'1 200lbs.
(only websites i know of are backcountry.com and evogear.com)

Very legit shop.

I think that you could get away with a pair in 181. If you're uncomfortable with going that big or you think it would affect your ability to spin comfortably, they have a pair in 176. However, if it were me I would go 181.

As far as boots, go to a local shop and get your foot fitted. Boots are the most important aspect of equipment, ask anyone.

Thanks for the ski length tip. Well I'm still looking at skis and I found some 2008 Armada Fleet El Rey. Are those on par with the Volkl Ledge or a little bit better like just under the Volkl Wall? Sounds like the Armada Fleet El Rey are meant for park/pipe and all mountain, just curious if anyone has rode them and if the statement holds true?

The El Rey is a cap construction ski, as opposed to the Wall which I believe is sandwich construction. I have never personally ridden a capped ski, but some people like them while others don't.

Capped skis chip less, but I've heard that is about the only thing they have over sandwich construction. Maybe someone with experience on capped skis can help you!

I agree with all the skis that have been suggested so far. As for length, I highly recommend that you go for the longest size for every ski. I'm just brushing 6 feet and weigh 170 and will be riding 185 volkl walls this season.
