self explanatory title..

you know you love skiing when, you make perfect tables out of your ice cream or mash potatoes

fail a class cuz you daydream too much and cant really focus on anything other than skiing.

when you ski more days during the winter than you acctually go to school

you pray for rain in town because you know up there it will be snow!

ill post more as i come up with them .. but im sure im not the only one with these kinds of stories :P

When you drive 8 hours every fucking weekend even if the weather sucks and ur slowly becoming broke

When u sleep in ur car and its under 20 F

When u talk with ur friends about something funny on Newschoolers and then have to awkwardly explain the joke to others

when u do ridiculous rail tricks on curbs

when driving u imagine an infinite rail slide on the metal barriers adjacent to the road, even though its physically impossible to maintain 80 and grind for like 10 minutes

when you watch ski movies over and over again countless times in the summer.

when you finger jib during class which made me fail my 3rd term of french.

when every night, before you go to bed, you think about skiing and what you are going to get for the next season

when you get your season pass for next year just after the current skiing season is over. i did that.

when you are willing to wake up at whatever time or drive what ever distance just to ski.

when the little bit of snow falls in early november, you get so stoked for skiing

when you stand in your room doing k-feds n shit on the ground

when you stop talking to most people in the ski season because your only interested in the people who are going up soon/regularly

when you meet people, and always manage to turn the conversation into a skiing one

when you watch JUMP music video, and turn off the musci cos its shit, but watch the parts with the frnites, mistys etc and think of the trick names

when you have linked your friends so many good skiing videos, they now are stoked for skiing, when before they hated the snow

this might be a weird one, but you know you are obsessed with skiing, and snow sports in general, when you can't wait to see the first "snowboarder" mag come out in the summer, just because it is winter stoke.  even though you never snowboard, you always buy the mag.

yep.... i suck at math but when we did area and angles of shapes we went over the sums and i went all the way up to 1980 and she thought i was nuts.... and i finished the hw on the lesson before she finished the lesson

she made me explain myself lol it was kinda akward

You put your ski stuff on frequently in the dead of summer and look at yourself afterbang in the mirror.

You put a metal pipe on a slightly sloped part of grass and hop on and do switch ups slowly sliding down it for hours, in the dead of summer.

You sleep with your skis close to you at night.

You expend nearly all your money on skiing.

You jib everything possible and imagine that your on skis slaying some gnarly rails.

You imagine that your doing tricks on skis while you do things on the trampoline.

You walk around your house in ski boots all the time, no matter the season.

The main thing you look for in a girl is if she skis.

You draw skiing scenes on every piece of homework or otherwise.

You dream about skiing, and think about it before you go to sleep.

You have a playlist with all the songs from ski movies because it makes you visualize the segment.

You spend a stupid amount of time on NS and watching ski videos.

People make fun of you all the time and are constantly making jokes about how addicted to skiing you are, you know it's true when everyone else has noticed.

You post links all over facebook about cool edits you've seen.

You look at every piece of ski equipment on the internet and consider buying every single item.

These are a few things that help me realize that I am quite addicted to skiing.

when some of your ipod has songs of skiing in the background from videos cus songs on itunes are a waste of money or you cant find the song or you just want edollo talking in the intro cus his accent is epic

90% of your songs on your ipod are from ski edits an whenevver you hear the song you just think of that particular edit..

When 90% of the dates that you pay for, you take your girlfriend to the ski hill...

When your girlfriend refuses to sleep with you becaue you're spending more time skiing than with her...

When she leaves you when your calling her at 730am from the airport, on her birthday when you had planned the week before to spend the day with her, saying "Babe, I'll be gone for 2 weeks. Sorry I forgot to tell you last week. Happy Birthday though, I bought you a ski magazine, its by the---" *phone cuts off*

When you get home, you find the place a mess and in the middle of the kitchen in the garbage can, you find your entire collection of ski movies burnt, which makes you more un-happy than your girlfriend leaving you...

Now that I've wrote this, I understand why I cant keep a girlfriend for more than a month now.....fuck, there needs to be more girls who understand what it means to skier.....
